Dr. Ucok P. Pasaribu, Sp.M(K), is a leading ophthalmologist based in Jakarta. He graduated as a general practitioner in 2002. He completed his ophthalmology specialization in 2008 at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia.
In 2010, he completed a Fellowship in Cataract Management and Phacoemulsification at Iladevi Cataract and IOL Research Center in India. He trained under the guidance of Dr. Abhay Vasavada.
In 2011, he earned certifications in LASIK and Corneal Transplantation from the Singapore National Eye Center. These certifications strengthened his expertise in laser vision correction.
In 2012, he obtained certifications in KeraRings Intrastromal Implants and Corneal Cross-Linking Therapy. He received these certifications during the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons Congress in Milan.
The following year, he joined the ICO scholarship program at Juntendo University in Tokyo, Japan. The program focused on corneal and external eye diseases. There, he studied under Prof. Akira Murakami.
He currently practices at Mayapada Eye Centre Jakarta. He is skilled in various modern refractive surgery techniques, including LASIK and SMILE Pro for vision correction.
His experience and expertise in ophthalmology have earned him wide recognition. He is regarded as one of the leading eye specialists in Indonesia.
In addition, he is active as a speaker and moderator at various ophthalmology congresses. He also frequently performs live surgery sessions, with a focus on laser vision correction and refractive surgery.
