Dr. Adhi Wicaksono, Sp.M, is an ophthalmologist with extensive experience in clinical ophthalmology, particularly in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. He completed his medical degree and ophthalmology specialist training at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (FMUI). Dr. Adhi is currently a member of the medical team at Mayapada Eye Centre, providing comprehensive eye care services in accordance with established medical standards.
In his professional development, Dr. Adhi has completed various fellowship programs both in Indonesia and abroad. He undertook a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology, FMUI – Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital, as well as a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at L.V. Prasad Eye Hospital, Hyderabad, India. In addition, he completed a Mini-Fellowship in Medical Vitreo-Retina at FMUI. Through this advanced training, Dr. Adhi has gained experience in managing a wide range of procedures, including pediatric and adult cataract surgery, strabismus surgery, and general ophthalmic care.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Adhi has professional experience in the managerial and operational aspects of eye hospitals, including roles as Medical and Nursing Director and Head of the Operating Theater at a specialized eye hospital. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), the Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association (PERDAMI), the Indonesian Pediatric Ophthalmology Association (INAPOS), and the World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (WSPOS).
