dr. Adhi Wicaksono, Sp.M, is an ophthalmologist with strong experience in clinical ophthalmology. His expertise focuses on pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
He completed his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (FKUI). He then continued his ophthalmology training at the same institution.
Currently, he is part of the medical team at Mayapada Eye Centre. In this role, he provides comprehensive eye care services in line with established medical standards.
To support his professional development, dr. Adhi has participated in various fellowship programs, both locally and internationally.
He completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology, FKUI – dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital. In addition, he undertook a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, India.
He also completed a Mini-Fellowship in Medical Vitreo-Retina at FKUI. This training broadened his experience across a wide range of eye procedures.
His clinical work includes pediatric and adult cataract surgery, strabismus surgery, and general ophthalmology services.
Beyond his clinical responsibilities, he has experience in hospital management and operations. For example, he has served as Medical and Nursing Director and as Head of the Operating Theater in a specialized eye hospital.
He remains active in professional organizations, including the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) and the Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association (PERDAMI).
Furthermore, he is involved in the Indonesian Pediatric Ophthalmology Association (INAPOS) and the World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (WSPOS).
