Dr. dr. Umar Mardianto, Sp.M(K), is a consultant ophthalmologist. He completed his medical degree at Universitas Indonesia in 1998. He then pursued his ophthalmology specialization at the same university and graduated in 2007. In 2025, he earned a doctoral (PhD) degree in Medical Science from Universitas Indonesia.
In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as a lecturer in eye health sciences. This role reflects his strong commitment to both medical care and education.
His expertise lies in refraction and visual rehabilitation. This includes the management of low vision and the correction of refractive errors. These conditions often affect a patient’s quality of vision. With careful attention and extensive clinical experience, he helps improve patients’ quality of life through better vision.

In addition, he takes part in social initiatives, particularly in cataract blindness prevention programs with PERDAMI.
