Dr. Suci Istiqa Mustafa, Sp.M, is an ophthalmologist with experience in clinical ophthalmology, with a particular focus on glaucoma. She completed her medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas, and her ophthalmology specialist training at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia (FMUI). To further enhance her expertise, Dr. Suci undertook a Glaucoma Fellowship at FMUI – Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital (RSCM). She is currently a member of the medical team at Mayapada Eye Centre, providing eye care services in accordance with established medical standards.
In her professional development, Dr. Suci actively participates in various national and international training programs, seminars, and scientific forums in ophthalmology, particularly those related to glaucoma, anterior and posterior segment disorders, and daily clinical management. She has been involved in scientific activities organized by PERDAMI, the Indonesian Glaucoma Society, INASCRS, as well as international forums such as the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) and the World Ophthalmology Congress (WOC). This involvement reflects her commitment to staying current with the latest advances in ophthalmic science and clinical practice.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Suci has actively contributed to the scientific field through research, publications, and scientific presentations related to glaucoma, cataract, and ocular manifestations of systemic conditions. She also has experience in various organizational and hospital management roles, particularly in quality improvement and patient safety. Dr. Suci is a member of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) and the Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association (PERDAMI), and is actively involved in the Indonesian Glaucoma Society. With her combination of clinical experience, academic background, and professional involvement, Dr. Suci Istiqa Mustafa is a dedicated member of the Mayapada Eye Centre team, committed to delivering professional and reliable eye care services.
