Dr. Amir Surya, Sp.M is an ophthalmologist with the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) who has extensive experience in military healthcare. He completed his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University, and then pursued his ophthalmology specialization at the same institution. From the beginning of his career, he has undertaken various important assignments within the Indonesian Navy, including leading unit health services, managing medical installations, and developing eye care services in several military healthcare facilities.

He has a strong interest in comprehensive eye care. His focus includes thorough eye examinations, early detection of eye diseases, and cataract surgery. His expertise continues to grow through various medical courses and training programs he regularly attends to stay aligned with technological advancements in ophthalmology.

He currently serves as the Head of the Kidney and Hypertension Sub-Department at RSPAL dr. Ramelan Surabaya and is known as a communicative, firm, and detail-oriented physician in providing care for every patient.
